On the Pacific Coast of Central America, November-Feb is typically small, dry, hot and very windy (offshore winds). That being said we do get swells during those months, and for longboarding and fish type boards it is actually quite good. But don’t count on much good normal shortboard worthy pumping surf with plenty of power like we do get March- Sept (and without the gale force offshores).
November- March are prime season months for the Caribbean. Our Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Bocas del Toro, Tortola and Salsa Brava, Costa Rica locations consistently fire these months. I highly recommend we go to one of these locations if you want to do a trip before March. more info on the site realsurftrips.com/locations
